Eddy current sensor is a non-contact linearization measuring tool, 07CR41 can statically and dynamically non-contact, high linearity, high resolution measurement of the measured metal conductor distance from the probe surface. It uses the principle of eddy currents to measure displacement, distance and other physical quantities that can be converted into displacement quantities. Its advantages include good long-term reliability, high sensitivity, strong anti-interference ability, non-contact measurement, fast response speed, not affected by oil and water and other media. Eddy current sensor is often used for long-term real-time monitoring of the axis displacement, shaft vibration, shaft speed and other parameters of large rotating machinery, which can analyze the working condition and fault causes of the equipment, and effectively protect and pre-repair the equipment.

The principle of eddy current sensor is based on Faraday’s law of electromagnetic induction and the interaction of vortex current. 07CR41 When a conductor moves with respect to a magnetic field or when the magnetic field changes, an induced current is generated in the conductor. The vortex current is a circular current distribution that forms a rotation in the conductor. The generation of vortex current is due to the interaction of self-inductance and resistance in the conductor. When there is a changing magnetic field in the conductor, the vortex current will offset the change in the magnetic field, thus forming a reverse induced electromagnetic field.

Eddy current sensors usually consist of an exciting coil and a detecting coil. The 07CR41 excitation coil is energized to generate an alternating magnetic field, while the detection coil is used to sense the induced electromagnetic field generated by the vortex current. When the eddy current is generated on the surface of the metal conductor, the induced electromagnetic field will change the voltage output in the detection coil, thus realizing the measurement of the metal conductor.

Eddy current sensors have the advantages of non-contact, non-damage, fast, accurate, etc., and are widely used in various fields, such as power, steel, petrochemical, ceramics and machinery manufacturing industry equipment detection and maintenance.
