Allen-Bradley 2094-AC16-M0 3-S is an important system component of the Kinetix 6000 multi-axis servo drive. It helps make programming, wiring, operation, and diagnostics easier and faster. Its compact size provides greater flexibility in machine design and systems engineering. The 2094-AC16-M03-S IAM servo driver is equipped with a three-phase (nominal 230 volts) AC input voltage of 195 to 264 volts RMS at a frequency of 47 to 63 Hertz. This 200 to 230 volt AC module has an 11 kW converter and a 24A inverter section. It has 95% efficiency, 325 volts DC rated bus output voltage and 20 ms line loss crossing. It has an internal shunt resistor rated at 28.75w with a sustained power of 200 watts and a peak power of 5700 watts. The converter inductance is 75 μH, the converter capacitance is 1980 μF, and the main AC input current ranges from nominal 71 amp RMS to maximum surge current 138 A (0-pk).
The 2094-AC16-M03-S module has a built-in safe torque shutdown feature that minimizes downtime. When the machine is not completely powered off, the STO disables the output when the circuit trips to eliminate motor torque. The 2094-AC16-M03-S comes with a replacement STO connector with a jumper. For applications that do not require STO functionality, bypass this feature by installing a jumper.
