The 2094-BC02-M02-S is a Kinetix 6000 integrated shaft module whose main function is to control a servo motor and provide external power to other drives on the power card rail. It can be connected and fixed to the operating panel, thus effectively connecting to the entire system.

In more complex systems, several shaft modules can be connected to an integrated shaft module, each of which controls its own servo shaft. For example, in applications on the take-up side, the tension sensor detects the saw tension values and transmits these values to the CPU via the A/D input module. According to the real-time tension of the saw wire, the CPU performs comprehensive control and operation, and sends instructions to the motor of the swinging arm to rotate, and adjusts the tightness of the saw wire through the movement of the swinging guide wheel. The tension regulation of the pay-off side is similar to that of the take-up side, which is achieved through this precise control.

In addition, data communication between the Kinetix 6000 integrated shaft module and the ControlLogix controller and servo system is based on the SERCOS ring network system. Kinetix drives can send pulse commands to oscillating arm motors to control their speed and position. At the same time, the pulse signal generated by the rotary encoder of the swing arm motor is fed back to the Kinetix 6000 servo drive, which enables the Kinetix 6000 to achieve direct closed-loop control of the motor position, thus greatly enhancing the performance.
