The 288055-01 seismic transmitter provides a 4-20 mA signal that is proportional to 0-1 inch/SEC 0-pk speed movement of the roller element housing or mechanical housing. It is designed for use on non-critical machines. Before sending the signal to the controller, the transmitter automatically integrates the acceleration signal on the machine into the vibration. The seismic transmitter also has a dynamic acceleration waveform output for advanced diagnostics that can be accessed at the non-sensor end of the field wiring via a patch board or some other wiring technology.

The 288055-01 seismic transmitter combines a reliable design with ease of installation and maintenance, reducing training and service costs. When integrated into the PLC or control system of a whole-plant asset condition monitoring solution, the sensor will help users better manage downtime, optimize maintenance schedules and avoid unforeseen catastrophic failures of machine assets.
