A Distributed Control System (DCS) is a microprocessor-based control system designed to decentralize control functions to various subsystems, while operations and management are centralized in a central control room. This kind of system adopts the structure form of multi-tiered, cooperative and autonomous, and its main characteristics are centralized management and decentralized control.
In DCS, the 5X00226G02 process control stage realizes the decentralized control functions of signal input, transformation, operation and output.
