The 700DC-P1200Z12 relay is a NEMA AC integral DIN rail relay manufactured by Allen-Bradley as a member of the Bulletin 700DC Relay product line. This relay is a standard type of DC-operated relay with voltage rating of 12 Volts DC. It has a maximum of 12 Normally Open (NO) contacts, 0 Normally Closed (NC) contacts, and an open enclosure type. The Allen-Bradley Bulletin 700DC Relays require no special tools for installation and they are compatible with the 700S-P safety relays as well as with the safety-monitoring relays, thus creating a cost-efficient solution for the industrial safety circuit requirements. Other notable features of the 700DC-P1200Z12 relay and other devices in 700DC Relays series include a rugged construction, and a broad current range in a single relay rated at 10, 20, or 35 Amps. This relay has a convertible “swing around” cartridge that converts the contacts from normally open to normally closed.

The Allen-Bradley 700DC-P1200Z12 relay has a direct drive across the bar design, and it is certified by the UL, CE, ABS, and CSA standards and requirements for us in the US. The 700DC-P1200Z12 relay is also globally accepted for industrial use and it is fully rated and approved by the NEMA and IEC standards. It features IP2X finger-safe ratings along with specified wire sizes that make its wires easy to install with the protective covers still attached. There are finger-safe top covers that allow the users to activate the mechanical override on the standard relays such as the 700DC-P1200Z12 relay by use of an access hole found in the cover. Allen-Bradley designed this relay to provide a special integral DIN rail design which allows for the various relays to be installed on the DIN rail, especially the AC NEMA relays with up to 12 poles.
