LAM Technologies Microstepper Drive DS10 Series LAM Technologies is an Italian manufacturer of industrial automation components that has been in the market for more than 20 years and is a leader in motion control. LAM Technologies manufactures a variety of bipolar stepper motor drivers with pulse train control with traditional STEP and directional signals. LAM Technoloqies offers drivers designed for mounting on DIN rails (DS10 series), an open version for panel mounting (OS10 series), a very compact version for wall mounting (LS10 series), and finally modules for PCB mounting (USD series). The fractionation step length reaches 25,600 steps per revolution, and the maximum input frequency exceeds 300KHz. The power range is very wide, including models with supply voltages from 18Vdc to 240Vdc and current from 0.3Arms to 10Arms (equivalent to 14Apk or 14lmax). In the same series, various models share the same electrical connections and mechanical fasteners, which makes it easy to quickly migrate their applications up or down. Many models are also equipped with AC inputs (alternating current), which can be connected directly to the transformer due to the integrated power supply. High performance, compact size, off the stock availability and low cost have over the years determined the success of our microstepper drives, which can be controlled by STEP and directional signals, and these actuators have been successfully used in applications such as pantograph CNC, tagging, plasma and laser cutting, Cartesian robots, solar chasers and more.
