8237-1246是一款ProTech-GII系列超速檢測系統(tǒng)是一種超速安全裝置，旨在在檢測到超速或超加速事件時安全關(guān)閉各種尺寸的蒸汽、燃氣和水力渦輪機。該設(shè)備通過主動或被動MPU（電磁傳感器）精確監(jiān)控渦輪轉(zhuǎn)子的速度和加速度，并向渦輪的跳閘閥或相應(yīng)的跳閘系統(tǒng)發(fā)出停機命令。

具體來說，ProTech-GII超速檢測系統(tǒng)提供兩種雙表決脫扣繼電器輸出，采用2選3的架構(gòu)，或三個獨立的非表決脫扣繼電器輸出，8237-1246帶有獨立的報警繼電器，4-20mA速度讀數(shù)和Modbus?通訊，使其易于集成到任何渦輪機安全系統(tǒng)中。

The ProTech-GII series Speed Detection system 8237-1246 is a speed safety device designed to safely shut down steam, gas and hydraulic turbines of all sizes when an overspeed or superacceleration event is detected. The device precisely monitors the speed and acceleration of the turbine rotor via an active or passive MPU (electromagnetic sensor) and sends a stop command to the turbine’s gate jump valve or the corresponding trip system.

Specifically, the ProTech-GII overspeed detection system offers two dual voting trip relay outputs in a 2 out of 3 architecture, or three separate non-voting trip relay outputs, the 8237-1246 with separate alarm relays, 4-20mA speed readings, and Modbus? communication. Make it easy to integrate into any turbine safety system.

The 8237-1246’s microprocessor uses a special MPU open-wire detection circuit for each module’s speed sensor input to verify that the MPU is properly connected before turbine operation, as well as special speed loss detection logic to verify MPU function during turbine operation. In addition, the system is also resistant to sulfur pollution, using a special conformal coating material, which has good long-term protection against H2S and sulfur dioxide gases.

The ProTech-GII overspeed detection system is available in two mounting types, panel mount and wall mount, which can be mounted on the standard 24-inch (610 mm) front panel of the cabinet, or on the housing or rail close to the turbine unit. This design allows the device to operate fully when one or both power supplies are available.
