The Woodward L Series Integrated Engine Control system is the first to offer so much engine speed control in such a compact package. The L-Series controller system is microprocessor-based and can be easily programmed to match the operating parameters of each engine you produce. The L Series provides speed control through software-selectable speed set point dynamics, fuel limits, and start/stop behavior.

With traditional bracket mounting using external linkages, the L-Series control system can be used in a variety of mechanical configurations, including one integrated into the rotary diesel fuel pump and one integrated into the throttle body or throttle body and mixer (product specification 03222). Externally mounted systems can be configured to rotate clockwise or counterclockwise (standard) axes to increase fuel.

The efficient torque motor for the L-Series controls provides a torque rating of 0.34N.m(0.25 pound-feet) over a 60° stroke range to operate fuel or air controls (see torque performance specifications over the entire product temperature range).

L series control functions:

– Speed setpoint adjustment using idle/Speed 1/ speed 2, up/down, and external analog Settings
– Two sets of speed dynamics can be set through engine speed, discrete inputs and even external signals
