The Multilin 850 relay is a member of the Multilin 8 Series protective relay platform and hasbeen designed for the management, protection and control of distribution feeder applications. The Multilin 850 is used to provide primary or backup protection for underground andoverhead medium voltage feeders from distribution and industrial power networks.

Designed with advanced communications options and detailed asset monitoring capabilities,the Multilin 850 provides advanced functionality, including high-performance protection,extensive programmable logic and flexible configuration capabilities.
