MOST以太網(wǎng)總線接口模塊(EBIM)是一種堅(jiān)固耐用的現(xiàn)場(chǎng)安裝平臺(tái)，用于遠(yuǎn)程I/O安裝在苛刻和危險(xiǎn)的過程應(yīng)用中。以太網(wǎng)BIM支持全冗余操作，提供冗余通信，并在需要時(shí)自動(dòng)切換到備用EBIM。ebims支持HART直通功能，可用于HART現(xiàn)場(chǎng)設(shè)備的遠(yuǎn)程維護(hù)。

EBIM可以在兩種通信模式下使用:使用MODBUS TCP作為對(duì)另一個(gè)主機(jī)系統(tǒng)的遠(yuǎn)程I/O，或在MOST控制系統(tǒng)中使用高速對(duì)等通信作為遠(yuǎn)程I/O。當(dāng)使用MODBUS TCP時(shí)，EBIM作為從站，通過以太網(wǎng)以rtu模式以10/100MB的速度進(jìn)行通信。與MTL 8000 ProcessI/OTM系統(tǒng)組件相結(jié)合，它可以節(jié)省控制室安裝系統(tǒng)的成本，以及靈活的系統(tǒng)設(shè)計(jì)和高系統(tǒng)可用性。EBIM可以利用現(xiàn)成的HMI軟件包，包括wonderware、Intellution和simplicity。在MOST控制系統(tǒng)中，EBIM系統(tǒng)可以作為MOST系統(tǒng)控制器的遠(yuǎn)程I/O節(jié)點(diǎn)。當(dāng)在most控制系統(tǒng)中使用時(shí)，所有遠(yuǎn)程ebimnode都被配置為本地I/O系統(tǒng)的一部分，提供系統(tǒng)中所有I/O節(jié)點(diǎn)的單一集成配置，無論是本地還是遠(yuǎn)程。數(shù)據(jù)通過高速點(diǎn)對(duì)點(diǎn)通信從eibm有效地傳遞到控制器。

The MOST Ethernet Bus Interface Module(EBIM) is a rugged, field-mountable platform intended for remote I/O mounting inharsh and hazardous process applications.The Ethernet BIM supports full redundantoperation, with provisions for redundantcommunications and automatic switchoverto the standby EBIM if required. The EBIMsupports a HART pass-through capability,which can be used for remote maintenanceof HART field devices.

OverviewThe EBIM can be used in two communications modes: with MODBUS TCP as remoteI/O to another host system, or with highspeed peer to peer communications asremote I/O in a MOST Control system.When using MODBUS TCP, the EBIM actsas a slave, communicating over Ethernet inRTU mode at speeds of 10/100MB.Combined with the MTL 8000 ProcessI/OTM system components, it offers cost savings over control-room mounted systems aswell as flexible system design and high system availability. An EBIM can utilize off-theshelf HMI packages, includingWonderware, Intellution and Cimplicity.In a MOST Control system, an EBIM systemcan be used as remote I/O node to aMOST system Controller. When used in aMOST Control system, all remote EBIMnodes are configured as if part of a localI/O system, providing a single integratedconfiguration of all I/O nodes in the system,whether local or remote. Data is passedefficiently to the controller from the EBIMusing high-speed peer to peer communications.
