A8516-040 is a turbine mechanical hydraulic governor, is a key component in the turbine control system, its main role is to adjust the speed of the turbine, to ensure that it can operate stably under various load conditions. By sensing the speed change of steam turbine, the speed regulator can automatically adjust the intake of steam, so as to realize the accurate control of steam turbine speed.

The working principle of A8516-040 mainly relates to the opening adjustment process of the water guide blade, the hard feedback process and the soft feedback process. When the external load changes, the governor will sense the change in speed, and adjust the opening of the water guide blade through the corresponding mechanical and hydraulic mechanism, so as to change the intake of steam turbine and achieve the adjustment of speed.

Specifically, when the unit is running with load, if the external load suddenly decreases, the speed of the unit will increase. At this time, the centrifugal swing speed in the governor will also rise synchronously, and the centrifugal force it is subjected to increases, resulting in the outer tension of the heavy block, and the pilot valve is driven to rotate through a series of mechanical connections to change the channel state of the oil circuit in the pilot valve. This change causes the oil discharge from the upper chamber of the auxiliary relay, changes the position of the main pressure distribution valve, then adjusts the position of the piston of the main relay, changes the opening of the water guide vane, reduces the flow into the turbine, and makes the unit stop accelerating and restore to the rated speed.

In addition, the role of hard feedback in the governor is to ensure that the adjustment process can be terminated in time when the adjustment goal is reached, preventing over-adjustment or under-adjustment. This action process ensures the stability and accuracy of the governor.
