FCM100ET is a communication module commonly used in industrial automation and control systems. Specifically, it enables the conversion of 100Mbps Ethernet to 2Mbps fieldbus, allowing the system to efficiently transfer data between different networks. In addition, the baud rate of the module is software-selectable and can be matched with the channels of all IT FBMS with the same baud rate to achieve seamless communication.

At a 4800 baud rate setting, each module of the FCM100ET provides a connection between the bidirectional digital communication transmitter and the system, suitable for fieldbuses. At 600 baud, the module not only provides two-way digital communication, but also allows analog signals from 0 to 20mA to be used in other devices, such as emergency shutdown systems.

In addition, the FCM100ET communication module is capable of processing five pieces of data at 4,800 baud per second per message received, or one message every 1.5 seconds at 600 baud. These messages contain two measurement variables (i.e., principal variables such as pressure and transmitter temperature), 32-bit floating-point safety information and diagnostic information, and message checks, which are available for all element systems.

FCM100ET is also a Windows-based application tool program that can be used and connected to a drive without a drive, monitor on-screen user selection in real time, and automatically select the appropriate program interface when transferring files.
