The module is a single socket CPU module with one CPU substrate and seven expansion and/or remote substrates. It uses the 80386EX processor type with a speed of 25MHz and operates at ambient temperatures of 0 to 60 degrees Celsius (32 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit). The typical scan rate of this CPU is.22 ms /K and the maximum user program memory is 32K bytes. It comes with a built-in serial port that supports SNP/SNP-X slave protocols and a LAN port that supports multipoint, Ethernet, FIP, Profibus, GBC, GCM, and GCM+ option modules. The controller supports shift registers, override, battery backup clock, PCM/CCM compatibility, periodic subroutine interrupt functionality, floating point math, RAM, and flash storage. It requires a +5 VDC power supply to provide 670 mA.
