The NI PCI-6251 (Part number: 779070-01) is a 16-bit resolution high-speed multi-function DAQ board. This model delivers excellent accuracy in multi-channel operation with a fast sampling rate of approximately 1.25 MS/s per single channel and 1 MS per second. The PCI-6251 supports analog and digital triggering and has approximately 70 signal conditioning options. In addition to the basic functionality, this model provides advanced functionality. It features an integrated NI-PGIA 2 amplifier that provides fast setup times when operating at high scan rates, thus ensuring 16-bit accuracy even when measuring all available channels at the maximum achievable speed. The device is equipped with 16 single-ended or 8 differential input channels, 2 output channels, and 24 bidirectional channels.

The NI PCI-6251 supports three driver software options: Ni-DAQMX Basics, Measurement Hardware DDK, and Ni-DAQMX. Run instruments such as LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI, Measurement Studio Microsoft Visual Studio – ADE also requires an application development environment (ADE). The device software can be configured using the Measurement and Automation Browser (MAX) tool.
