National Instruments PCI-6259 Multi-function DAQ
PCI-6259 is a multi-function data acquisition device from National Instruments. The part number of this equipment is 779072-01. The PCI-6259 is a 16-bit M-series device. The equipment provides an optimized solution for measurement requirements. The PCI-6259 device integrates the NI-STC 2 system controller. The controller guarantees high performance. The overspeed current at the output is 20ma. When the device is powered on, a 1.5V fault occurs for 1.5 seconds. The PCI-6259 device also incorporates FIFO buffers at both the input and output ends. The device has 48 digital I/O channels.
PCI-6259 contains two counters/timers. The timer has a resolution of 32 bits and a frequency of 80mhz. The FIFO buffer of the counter can store two samples. The PCI-6259 also has a frequency generator and two basic clocks. These clocks have fixed frequencies :100 KHZ and 10 MHZ. The output of the frequency generator is transmitted to all PFI or RTSI terminals. The PCI-6259 runs using the NI-DAQmx driver. You need to install the NI-DAQmx driver. After installing the software, users need to install support for the application development environment of their choice, which can be LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI, C/ C ++, C #, or Visual Basic.NET.
