PLX32-EIP-MBTCP is an industrial Ethernet communication gateway manufactured by ProSoft Technology. The gateway has two separate Ethernet ports that allow each protocol to reside in a separate subnet, allowing data to be passed between subnets without changing the IP address of each device. This characteristic makes it widely used in industrial automation and control system.

The PLX32-EIP-MBTCP gateway has a variety of functional features, including data priority Settings, allowing users to set status and/or control RPIs (Remote Procedure Invocations) of data. In addition, it includes an embedded EDS Add-On profile that simplifies integration and reduces debugging time. The gateway also contains an optional SD card slot for storing configuration files, which can be used for disaster recovery.

In addition, the PLX32-EIP-MBTCP gateway provides advanced security through security module configuration via module switches (v1.04 and later).
