The CPU board includes a microprocessor and RAM memory, real-time clock, LED indicators, INIT button, and CompactFlash interface. The PM858 controller has two RJ45 Ethernet interfaces (CN1, CN2) and two RJ45 serial ports (COM3, COM4) on the backplane, which are connected to the control network. The middle serial port (COM3) is an RS-232C port with a modem control signal, while the other port (COM4) is isolated and used to connect configuration tools. The controller supports CPU redundancy and provides higher availability (CPU, cex bus, communication interface, and S800/O). Simple DIN rail connection/separation program, using unique sliding and locking mechanisms. All backplanes have a unique Ethernet address that provides a hardware identifier for each CPU. This address can be found on the Ethernet address label on the TP830 backplane. (Only compatible with System 800xA 6.0.2, Compact Control Builder 6.0.0-1 and above.
