The PM866AK02 is an ABB control unit belonging to the PM family. It is a redundant controller with high reliability and redundancy performance for industrial automation control systems that require analog outputs.

The PM866AK02’s CPU board contains the microprocessor and RAM memory, real-time clock, LED indicator, initialization button, and CompactFlash interface. The control unit supports 12 fieldbus module expansions and integrates 2 Ethernet interfaces, 2 RS232C interfaces, and ModulBus electrical and fiber optic expansion interfaces. In addition, it supports redundant Settings, which can reduce points of failure and ensure the efficiency of control system operation.

The PM866AK02 supports up to 16 tasks, small task cycles can reach 1ms, and the resolution of SOE sequential occurrence events is less than 1ms. The CPU can realize controller-level communication through Ethernet interfaces.
