The PMC-5565PIORC-110000 is a reflective memory node card that complies with the optical Fiber PMC specification of the RoHS standard. The card provides a high-speed, low-latency, deterministic interface that allows data to be shared between up to 256 independent systems (nodes) at rates of up to 170 megabytes per second. Each reflective memory board can be configured with 128 MB or 256 MB of on-board SDRAM, providing fast read access times for stored data.
Write operations are stored in local SDRAM and broadcast to other reflective memory nodes via high-speed fiber data paths. This design makes the data transfer between nodes software-transparent and therefore requires no I/O overhead. In addition, the PMC-5565PIORC-110000 also features improved PIO reading performance and field-upgradeable firmware, further enhancing its performance and flexibility.
In addition, the PMC-5565PIORC series fiber optic reflective memory card is designed for PMC bus structure, combined with the conversion board, can quickly form CPCI, PCIE, VME and other bus interfaces.
