The REX010 Ground fault protection device is a device used to protect electrical equipment from ground faults. In the event of a ground failure, the device can quickly cut off the power supply to prevent damage to the equipment or prevent a fire.
The ground fault protection device is usually composed of zero sequence current transformer and trip device. The zero-sequence current transformer is used to detect the unbalanced current in the line, while the tripping device cuts off the power based on the detected current value.
When a ground fault occurs, the fault current forms a loop between the fault point and the ground. REX010 Because this current is unbalanced in a zero-sequence current transformer, a ground fault can be identified by detecting this current. As soon as the fault current is detected, the trip device immediately cuts off the power supply to protect the device from damage.
Ground fault protection devices can be applied to various types of electrical equipment, such as distribution cabinets, motors, household appliances, etc. REX010 can quickly cut off the power supply when the equipment is grounded, avoid equipment damage and fire accidents, so as to protect people’s lives and property safety.
