The SK-H1-ASICBD-D1030 board is an 1030 Amps-rated ASIC board manufactured by Allen-Bradley. The board allows for the implementation of digital signal processing algorithms in applications to minimize power consumption and reduce the hardware size for different applications. It has a voltage rating of 400/480 Volts AC. This ASIC board is compatible with both the PowerFlex 700 H and the PowerFlex 700 S series. The board has different electronics components contained on a single integrated circuit. The board is a cost-effective solution for different applications working at high volume. The board houses resistors, capacitors, inductors, diodes, transistors, and other components. It is fast in operation. The SK-H1-ASICBD-D1030 board is used for regulating the torque and speed of 3-phase induction motors and drives. The host PowerFlex drives come with an advanced motor control algorithm that offers best-in-class motor control. These AC drives feature the flying start, process PI control, and inertia ride thru functions.

The PowerFlex 700 SK-H1-ASICBD-D1030 ASIC board is designed with an open enclosure and it is used inside the drive cabinet of its host drive. The ASIC board comes with an internal fan that is 60 millimeters in size and that is used for internal cooling. The SK-H1-ASICBD-D1030 ASIC board is connected with fan inverters, and other components by using different-sized cables. The board has a sheet metal cover and mounting screws located on the power structure and it can be energized with potentially high voltage. The fiber-optic cables that it uses are connected into the sockets labeled from H1 to H7. The minimum inside bend radius for the cables is 25.4 millimeters. The cables should be handled properly during the installation process. The environmental temperature should be between 0 and 60 degrees Celsius for proper drive and board operation.
