SPAJ140C is a powerful, highly integrated, and flexible combination overcurrent and ground fault relay produced by ABB. It is widely used for short-circuit and ground fault protection in power systems, with high reliability and stability. Overcurrent protection function:
A three-phase low setting phase overcurrent device with timed or inverse minimum time (IDMT) characteristics.
A three-phase high setting phase overcurrent device with instantaneous or timed characteristics.
When a fault is detected, it will start, trip the circuit breaker, provide alarm signals, and record fault data according to application requirements and relay configuration.
Ground fault protection function:
Low level grounding fault device with timed or inverse minimum time (IDMT) characteristics.
High level grounding fault unit with instantaneous or definite time operation function.
When the ground fault current exceeds the set value, it will start and send a start signal for ground fault protection.
