The SST? communication module for Rockwell ControlLogix systems is the perfect choice for a variety of applications including factory automation, process control and complex machines.
Each SR4 module has 4x serial communication channels that allow for extensive data exchange with industrial equipment, such as Modbus master or slave stations, independently and electrically insulated from each other.
Save configuration and diagnostic time by using control board software that connects remotely via EtherNet/IP or RSLinx. Each module is delivered with its custom Add-On Profile (AOP) for easy integration in the RSLogix 5000 software. Input/output data transfer between this module and the ControlLogix CPU (processor) supports two modes: “Direct mode”, which does not require writing any ladder logic and can share up to 248 input words + 248 output words, or “paging mode”, which can share up to 32,000 input/output words.
CLXT modules can withstand high temperatures and operate in harsh, corrosive environments to meet customer application requirements.
