The VM600-CPUR is a key component in the VM600 series as part of the rack controller and communication interface card pair. This CPU pair acts as a system controller and data communication gateway in the VM600 Rack Mechanical Protection System (MPS) and/or condition Monitoring system (CMS) of the Meggitt Vibrometer product line.

The VM600-CPUR features several features, such as support for the Modbus RTU/TCP communication protocol, which facilitates seamless connectivity with other devices and systems. It supports rack controller redundancy, which means that the system is equipped with both primary (active) and inactive (redundant) rack controllers to improve system reliability and stability.
