The all-point color results in excellent legibility of the LCD display: high visibility of the display is ensured even in direct sunlight in the early morning and evening. Users can freely access the required action display from the meter, trend display, bar chart, alert and event display. All parameters can be set through the front panel display.

Feature block Programming: In addition to text programming that is compatible with earlier models, the YS1700 also offers a new GUI-based programming approach known as feature block programming. The YS 1000 series optional YSS1000 setup software is used to develop user programs.

Large programming capacity: the program capacity of the text program is 1000 steps, and the program capacity of the function block program is 400 modules.

More powerful control and computation: four-byte floating point computation in IEEE7 54 format allows the use of actual values in calculations. There are more than 100 calculation modules, including exponential and logarithmic functions, temperature compensation, and pressure complement function selection modes (no programming required): The multifunction controller mode allows you to select controls from common functions (single loop, cascade, or selector control) without programming. The functional allocation of digital and analog inputs/outputs (DIs, DOs, Als, and AOs) can be determined by parameter Settings.

Expandable I/O: The base model with expandable l/O has eight analog inputs, four analog outputs, ten digital inputs, or ten digital outputs (fourteen digital inputs and outputs in total).

Fail-proof: Due to the use of dual cpus (one for control and one for display), even if either CPU fails, it can be displayed and manually operated. The hard manual circuit, independent of the digital circuit incorporation, allows the controller output to be manually adjusted during the digital circuit failure of both cpus. (When the /NHM option is specified, hard manual circuits are not included.) Non-volatile memory for liver memory backup: No batteries or capacitors for memory backup, easy maintenance.

Ac /DC dual power supply with wide operating voltage range ensures stability of power supply voltage fluctuations: it can be driven by AC (100 volts) or DC (24 volts) power supply. In addition, DC power supplies are capable of receiving power without polarity. (If 220 V AC power is used, it must be specified at the time of ordering.) 250 mm deep (basic model only)
