The DL5PPb-400 is a gas sensor that converts information such as the composition and concentration of a gas into information that can be used by personnel, instruments, computers, etc. It usually includes the function of filtering impurities and interfering gases, drying or refrigeration treatment, and can convert a certain gas volume fraction into a corresponding electrical signal.

DL5PPb-400 is generally classified as a class of chemical sensors, common types include semiconductor gas sensors, electrochemical gas sensors, catalytic combustion gas sensors, thermal conductivity gas sensors, infrared gas sensors, solid electrolyte gas sensors, etc. These sensors have their own characteristics, such as the electrochemical gas sensor is mainly used for the quantitative detection of trace gases, and the solid electrolyte gas sensor generates ions when the gas-sensitive material passes through the gas, thus forming the electromotive force, so as to measure the gas concentration.
